I understand your challenges in the business world. What sets my coaching apart is that I haven't just studied these challenges; I've lived them. I've been in the trenches with the everyday situations of dealing with tough situations, leading teams, making presentations, and overcoming the everyday hurdles of getting the job done. When you share your issues, I can relate.
My Story
I know what it’s like to be an introvert, to find it hard to speak up for your accomplishments.
Over the years I’ve seen the ways in which coaching can transform a person’s career. I’ve experienced that transformation firsthand, in fact. When I was very young, I was working for a huge financial corporation – my work was stellar, and I was noticed by some of the executives. They promoted me to Vice President. In an instant, I had a large team, but no leadership experience. I also hadn’t established strong connections or a reputation with other leaders in the company and nobody knew who I was. The first year was really difficult. Finally, the company got me a coach – and everything changed.
My coach helped me establish how I was going to lead, how to communicate, how to show up in the workplace. I became more confident, I put myself out there more, and I found myself enjoying my role and becoming a strong leader.
Coaching works. And it can work for you.
My passion
Throughout my career, I have been passionate about mentoring and coaching individuals on my teams to build skills that will help them throughout their career. Beyond any achievements, it has been my joy to see people I’ve mentored rise through the ranks as they build their careers (whether still on my team or not).
I believe the best way to learn, the way that really sticks, is when you’re in the trenches and you build something brick by brick. Every decision and action build you up as a leader, so you have to be deliberate about each of them. When you have someone by your side who can help you mix the mortar and lay the stones, someone you can go to and ask, “How do I handle this situation?”, it’s much easier.
Sometimes I found myself drowning in the daily grind, and it was crazy how easily I could lose sight of the bigger picture. When I drew upon my insights from coaching, I could see the way forward a little more clearly. I'm on this journey of helping introverted women show up as their best selves, sharing my mistakes and important lessons learned, so that they can succeed on their own terms.

“ I cannot recommend Anita highly enough! She is an amazing leader who sets a very high bar for her team and yet also fully supports and enables them to succeed, inspiring a strong desire to exceed expectations. She has been by far the best mentor of my entire career. It's one thing to manage, another to lead, but it's a rare and unique skill to actually be a mentor at the same time. Anita's coaching skills set her apart from any other manager I have ever had.”
